The outstanding musician offered the concert Cuba Lives, as part of the Jazz Plaza Festival.

In a packed Teatro Heredia, and also full of emotion, this Sunday Nachito Herrera and luxury guests – among Cubans and Americans – offered a concert titled Cuba Lives, as part of the inauguration of the International Jazz Plaza Festival, in its 39th edition, which will take place until January 28.

In statements to the press, the outstanding musician affirmed that "Nachito without Cuba is nothing; without Cuban music he is nobody in the world. Nachito always says: I would rather see Nachito die the day he stops defending the land that saw him born, the land that made him a doctor in music, this beautiful land that we are in."

Prominent American artists also participated in the memorable concert, such as Karen Briggs and Yohannes Tona.
