Musicians from around the world will sing to Eduardo Aute on the first anniversary of his death

Interpreters from various nations and musical styles are working today on a version of the song Pasaba por aquí, by Spanish musician Luis Eduardo Aute, on the occasion of the first anniversary of his death.

The premiere is scheduled for next Friday in a choral version that will bear the stamp of Spanish artists Joaquín Sabina, Estopa, Rozalén, Xoel López, Ismael Serrano, Marwán, Pedro Guerra, Vanesa and Dani Martín.

They will be joined in the initiative by Mexican Carlos Rivera, Uruguayan Jorge Drexler, Cuban Silvio Rodríguez and Argentine Abel Pintos.

The song, which is part of the album Alma (1980) with which Aute concluded the trilogy Canciones de amor y vida, was produced by Ismael Guijarro and arranged by Álvaro Gandul.

Deceased on April 4, 2020 from a heart attack, the also renowned filmmaker, sculptor, painter and poet left an emblematic musical work valued for the "poetic and lucid level of his lyrics, his emotional sensitivity and his erotic extrasensory images".
