Cuban musicians put timba to Beethoven's "Para Elisa"

The talented Cuban pianist Alfredo Rodríguez Jr. has shared on his Facebook account a video in which, along with two other musicians, they perform a Cuban timba version of the famous melody of Für Elise (Para Elisa), by pianist and composer Ludwig van Beethoven.

In the clip appear Cuban percussionist Michael Olivera and bassist Munir Hossn, who now make up the Alfredo Rodríguez Trío, bringing talent and flavor to the nights of Los Angeles.

In less than a minute, the musicians incorporate elements of Cuban timba into the original melody, which results in a tasty musical party that filled more than one Cuban with pride and nostalgia.

"Brutal," "Water, how delicious," "Very creative," "What a mix with Cuban flavor," "Pure flavor," "Excellent geniuses," are some of the comments on the video, which has already been shared more than 600 times.

Alfredo Rodríguez Jr. is considered one of the best Cuban pianists. The musician has earned recognition in the American music space, mainly in the world of jazz.
