Cuban actress, model and singer Yessica Borroto was selected to join the cast of actors who will participate in the third season of the popular Netflix series, "Narcos", where fellow Cuban actor Alberto Guerra and singer Bad Bunny will be among the new faces.
According to what Yessica reported on her official Twitter, through the magazine "Deadline", Borroto will bring to life the character of "Marta".
Set in the 1990s, the third season of Narcos will expose the war that erupts after the collapse of Félix's empire.
Almost eight months after the premiere of the second season, Netflix once again trusted Narcos: México, recently renewing it for a third installment.
According to Collider, the new installment of the Narcos spin-off series will also feature the participation of Damayanti Quintanar as Hortencia, Manuel Uriza as Carlos Hank Gonzalez, Makin López as Rogelio and Bad Bunny as Arturo 'Kitty' Paez.
As recently independent cartels struggle to survive political upheaval and escalating violence, a new generation of Mexican drug lords emerges. But in this war, truth is the first casualty and each arrest, murder, and takedown only pushes real victory further away.
