The Cuban-Mexican actress, Malillany Marín, after 25 years of an artistic career primarily in Mexico, has been selected to act in a series for Netflix, playing the famous designer Carolina Herrera.

Malillany did the casting with makeup and hair styled like the famous Venezuelan designer Carolina Herrera, resulting in an incredible resemblance, so without hesitation, the production gave her the role of the only Latin American designer who has achieved international reach.

Recently, in 2018 Malillany played Sarita Salazar, also Cuban and wife of José José, in the biographical series dedicated to the Prince of Song; after having participated in several telenovelas, among which stand out: Que bonito amor (2012-2013), Dos hogares (2011), Hasta que el dinero nos separe (2009-2010), Un gancho al corazón (2008-2009), La fea más bella (2006), among others, as well as in Theater and Film, and having worked as a host on some television programs.

Malillany Marín, together with the filming of the biographical series of Carolina Herrera, will continue to perform her role as host of the fashion program "Cuídate de la Cámara", a project that would also help her in her performance.

Netflix has not yet revealed the names of the artists that will make up the cast of the biographical series.
