Renowned Cuban artists Luisa María Jiménez and Patricio Wood began this 2020 with a new joint project that will surely bring more than one joy to admirers of good Cuban cinema.

Both actors, currently considered two of the best artists on the Island, are fully engaged in filming a television movie that will be broadcast under the title "Para toda la vida" and under the direction of Cuban television filmmaker and screenwriter Magda González Grau.

Luisa María Jiménez made the news public by sharing several images from the filming on her Facebook profile in which she appears next to Patricio Wood leaning against an old car.

The actress herself revealed that in the short film both will play a couple "after so many years".

"Who would have thought it! A couple after so many years. That's what the great Patricio and I are in Magda González's new telefilm Para toda la vida," Luisa María commented alongside the images.

This is not the first time that Luisa María and Patricio have shared scenes in a production for cinema or the small screen, as both have coincided on various occasions, although never as a couple.

Among the films in which both have participated are: "¿Por qué lloran mis amigas?", also directed by Magda González Grau, and in which the participation of other important faces of the country's culture stands out, such as Edith Massola, Amarilis Núñez, Paula Alí, Ariadna Álvarez and Néstor Jiménez.
