Luis Silva 'Pánfilo' Celebrates Two Million Followers on Facebook

Cuban comedian Luis Silva, who brings to life the character of Pánfilo in the popular television program Vivir del Cuento, celebrated two million followers on Facebook this Friday.

"Oh! 2 Million followers on Facebook. Thank you so much to everyone, on behalf of myself and on behalf of Pánfilo. Thank you!", the comedian wrote as part of his new achievement.

Pánfilo, who has won the affection of the public, continues gaining supporters for his work and is becoming increasingly popular.

Last September, Silva was nominated for the 2023 Latin Grammy along with the Orquesta Failde, as announced by the artists themselves.

"Pánfilo nominated for a Latin Grammy with Failde! This is too much. Thank you Orquesta Failde for taking the risk of inviting me to sing El Bodeguero together," Silva thanked through a video he posted on his social networks.

"What a beautiful coincidence because in this 2023 it is the centennial of the birth of the great Richard Egües, creator of El Bodeguero. Immortal cha-cha-cha," added the members of the Cuban orchestra.

Silva joined the musical group to perform an iconic theme of Cuban music and predicted the success of the collaboration.

"From here to the Grammys," Silva said when he performed the song included in the Danzoneando album by the Orquesta Failde.
