Luis Silva and other Cuban actors will be in the animated series Titoverse.
Silva will be Wan, "a Chinese pirate who will contrast with the most popular character on Cuban screens for fifteen years".
"Given that the series addresses the adventures of a group of Latino teenage superheroes who move through different eras and dimensions to fight evil, Wan will have a presence in the episode in which his pirates will face the youth league, for a reason of emotional survival", noted the aforementioned source.
In addition, the new chapters will feature cameos of Silva himself with his popular Pánfilo from the humorous program Vivir del Cuento.
"As Pánfilo, Silva will indeed appear in several episodes, given that his sister -played by Paula Alí- has invited him to Tito's fifteenth birthday, where a twenty-four hour loop is created until those who make up the Titoverse manage to accomplish the mission that unites them in the first season", pointed out Cubadebate.
In the Titoverse series will also be comedians Osvaldo Doimeadiós and Rigoberto Ferrera, as well as actors such as Rubén Breña, Aramís Delgado, Luis Alberto García, Carlos Enrique Almirante, Carlos Luis González, Tahimí Alvariño, Edesio Alejandro, Ulises González, Lezvy Samper, among others.
At the moment, the series is in a recording stage, with more stars to be included, until next February.
Titoverse will have "twenty-six single-themed chapters, co-produced by the Animation Studios of ICAIC and the creator, co-writer and director of the same, Daniel Martín. It does not yet have an official premiere date, it takes place during the adolescence of the successful Cuban-Mexican children's character Tito Reacciona, of which, this January 28 already premieres its first season on Canal Habana, in celebration of the 170th anniversary of José Martí's birth and the seventeenth of the channel's founding", reported Cubadebate.
