The new projects of Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba

The renowned company Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba is preparing a new show in which the music and visual arts of the island go hand in hand, which will be presented first in Canada, in February 2019, and will later reach the main stages of the country.

After recently attending the Panama Ballet Festival, the professor and director of the dance collective, Lizt Alfonso, revealed some of the projects for the coming year, among which stand out the revival of the musical "Amigas" in the Caribbean nation, and tours to Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Also noteworthy is a presentation at the National Auditorium of Mexico of the show "Cuba Vibra", which will feature a very beautiful and interesting staging and different scenery.

This work will arrive at the Gran Teatro de La Habana "Alicia Alonso" in the month of November, and there are added a tour through China and the three summer courses, where students and national and foreign dancers currently participate, as well as guest professors from various regions.

Alfonso revealed that for next August she will return to Panama with her colleague Claudia Valdivia to be part of the jury of the Danza Activa competition.
