Haila announces her summer European tour with performances at the iconic Glastonbury festival in England and stops in France and Italy.

Renowned Cuban singer Haila María Mompié, one of the most prominent figures in the current Cuban music scene, continues adding milestones to her career of more than three decades. The artist is preparing for her summer European tour that will take her to important venues in England, Italy and France under the title "Llegó la Mompié".

Within the agenda, her participation on June 28th stands out, at Glasto Latino, a platform specializing in Afro-Caribbean and Latin music within the iconic Glastonbury Festival, considered the world's largest outdoor music event.

Started in 1970, this mega-event brings together more than one hundred thousand people each year at the end of June, transforming a quiet farm in Pilton, England, into an extraordinary experience with more than 20 areas full of attractions and a program of music and performing arts that includes the most notable artists in the world.

Most of the profits are donated to social causes and non-profit organizations.

Special mention deserves her usual participation in the "Friends of Partagás" Meeting that will reach its eighteenth edition filling the Italian city of Matelica with the aroma and rhythms of Cuba, between July 3rd and 7th.

Haila, an outstanding figure of timba and son, will shine with her orchestra at other important European venues such as the Jazz Cafe in London, the Cubasanga and Bayamo festivals, both in France and in the Italian cities of Rome, Turin, Bari and Brindisi.
