Liuba María Hevia and Amaury Pérez in the Dominican Republic

The concert "Caribbean Symphony" will bring together local artists and Cuban singer-songwriters Amaury Pérez and Liuba María Hevia in the Dominican Republic, who are already in this country, as both announced on their social networks.

From Barajas Airport in Madrid, the guitarist, composer and performer expressed shortly before boarding the plane heading to "my beloved Quisqueya," that she was filled with emotion about this concert, to be held next Friday at the National Theater, in this capital.

Hevia expressed on her social networks her desire for these to be very special days as an artist and above all as a human being. "Caribbean Symphony will be unforgettable," wrote the renowned poet.

For his part, singer-songwriter Amaury Pérez sent a hug to his followers from the South Caribbean and announced that rehearsals are already beginning.

"Caribbean Symphony" promises to be a great concert. Four voices will come together in the Carlos Piantini Hall of the National Theater: Dominicans Maridalia Hernández, Pavel Núñez and Cubans Amaury Pérez and Liuba María Hevia, alongside the Philharmonic Orchestra of the city to be conducted by maestro Amaury Sánchez, creator of the show.

Sánchez expressed last week that this is a meeting between the cultures of two Caribbean countries, represented in the voices and compositions of four great artists.

The repertoire includes emblematic songs such as "Acuérdate de abril," "Hacerte venir" and "Creceremos" by Amaury Pérez, troubadour and co-founder of the "Cuban New Song" movement, along with Silvio Rodríguez and Pablo Milanés.

Pavel Núñez will perform titles such as "Te di," "Viene gente" and "Paso a paso," among others.

Meanwhile, Liuba María Hevia returns to Santo Domingo to share songs such as "Ausencia," "Vidas paralelas" and "Señor arcoíris," while Hernández will offer from her rich repertoire "Te ofrezco," "Para quererte" and "Nuestro amor," among other songs.
