Cuban singer and songwriter Liuba María Hevia is preparing her next acoustic concert for today, Para volverte a ver, before the audience at the Pequeño Teatro Gran Vía in the capital of Spain.
According to the Madrid newspaper Nueva Tribuna, Hevia will perform songs from her most recent album that gives its name to the presentation, where she will share some compositions written during the confinement due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The publication highlights other notable songs in her already long and prolific career, such as Con los hilos de la luna (El abuelo), Ausencia, Vidas paralelas or Si me falta tu sonrisa, which will be accompanied musically by Lino Lores.
During the show, the audiovisual Para volverte a ver will be projected, which introduces the artist, along with the premiere of the music video for the song Tristeza, a duet with Spanish artist Ana Belén.
The singer-songwriter will tour Spain and Portugal with her musicians, taking her music and talent between the months of May and August 2022.
The Madrid newspaper placed Hevia among the essential voices within the Cuban and Hispanic-American music scene and, in turn, recalled her journey through Spain in 2021.
It also mentions her presentation at the Canción de Autor event, organized by the Fundación SGAE in the Sala Berlanga in Madrid (and programmed by singer-songwriter Pedro Guerra), and a concert at the Villa del Libro de Ureña, among others.
