Those who know Lilita (the Lía from the current telenovela "El rostro de los días"), know that her frank smile expresses the cheerfulness and confidence with which she defends her views. These are traits that unite her with the character she plays in the current Cuban novel on screen.

With experience in what the stage and the magic of cameras means, due to her 14-year stay at La Colmenita, this telenovela is truly the young woman's major acting debut.

For her, this opportunity has been a great challenge, and in this regard she assures: "Sometimes, while I watch the chapters of the telenovela, I feel afraid that I wasn't able to deliver what Lía represents. She is a character that I adore and that I learned to care for not only with pity, but also from the admiration that inspired me to know that, despite her young age, she had to mature based on very firm principles, and that is respectable at any age".

However, fears aside, Lilita has risen to the occasion, and how. In the telenovela, she moves all the time on the "edge of a knife", but she does it from feeling. She becomes believable, both from innocence and from the strength she imposes as a convinced adolescent. She modulates emotions, the tone of her voice, which is very important when it comes to exposing the truthfulness of what she says, a fact that in this character comes off more successfully than in others.

Regarding the experiences lived during the filming process of the telenovela, the actress told us: "Besides the intensity of the conflict that always touches one as an individual, I remember that the filming time was very intense, I even got sick with a tremendous dermatitis, caused by the stress itself. It was a very intense filming period in which I also had my high school graduation, the entrance exams to begin at the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) and the process took my first year of study at that university. It was all a happy madness.

"Lía is not such a major character, but she holds an enormous truth", thus says goodbye this actress who, with the good reviews received from viewers, is now in her second year at ISA, full of hopes awakened by the world of acting. Among them, there is one that has a name and it is the preparation of the new film by Fernando Pérez, Riquimbili or the world of Nelsito, where Lilita will play a peculiar young woman named Doraysi. This will be another role that will make us remember the difficult smile that Lía made bloom in El rostro de los días.
