Leoni Torres and Diana Fuentes

Cuban singer Diana Fuentes informed through her social networks that on August 5th she premiered the song "Después de mí" on her digital platforms, in collaboration with Leoni Torres.

"I'm so happy to announce that this Friday, August 5th, will be available on all digital platforms, this beautiful collaboration with @leoni_torres titled: 'Después de mi'", wrote the Cuban on her Instagram. Torres also shared the news with his followers.

In early March of this year, the Cuban performer announced that he had accepted an invitation from Fuentes to perform a duet.

"The public asked us for a long time to record something and here it is. Stay tuned to our networks so you don't miss this gift. Thanks for the invitation @dianafuentes", Torres wrote on his Instagram account in an image with the singer.

For her part, Diana assured being very excited about this meeting. "Songs choose you and choose their time to flourish. Very soon, with @leoni_torres", added the former member of Síntesis in Cuba.

Torres replied that "that's how it was and finally after so long we got together to record something really beautiful for our followers". Some commentators expressed to them that, being such good artists, they had taken a long time to make a musical collaboration.

"Each one is the other's version in the opposite sex. That will be sublime", noted Cuban actress Rachel Cruz. Meanwhile, composer Ángel Pututi assured that this was a collaboration of two geniuses. "Happy to be one of the composers along with my wife", he added.

Diana Fuentes, based in the United States for years, after a stint in Puerto Rico while being partner of Visitante, former musician of Calle 13, was somewhat away from music headlines despite her talent. This could be an excellent opportunity to relaunch her career in Miami.
