The popular Cuban singer Leoni Torres, who resides in Miami with his family, will participate for the first time in the National Salsa Festival representing Cuba. The event will take place on October 22 in Orlando, Florida.
The artist from Camagüey shared on his Instagram a fragment from his most recent interview, where he notes that he will have the honor of participating in this event alongside outstanding figures of the salsa genre that he so admires from countries such as Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, and Dominican Republic.
In addition to Leoni Torres, Oscar León, Papo Lucca with La Sonora Ponceña, Tito Nieves, José Alberto "El Canario", Daniela Darcourt, Christian Alicea, Diego Galé, and Alex Sensation are invited to the salsa gathering.
It is likely that Torres will perform with his new salsa album "Pasándola bien", which includes very upbeat songs such as 'Corazón roto', 'Cuando bailas', 'La vida es así', and 'Pasándola bien', the song that gives the album its name. The music videos accompanying these songs have recorded millions of views on YouTube.
Torres has achieved no small results in these last two years in his artistic career. In addition to the success of his new album, recently during one of his concerts he was surprised with the delivery of a gold record and a platinum record for his hits with the songs "Toda una vida" and "Para que un día vuelvas", accompanied by strong applause from the audience present.
