The charismatic vocalist, composer, and music producer Cimafunk is about to complete the presentation of the songs that make up his latest EP, Cun Cun Prá, and he's doing it surrounded by more female talent this Thursday, February 4th.

This is La Papa, a fun and very funky song, just as the artist previewed in an interview where he also mentioned that the double meaning of its lyrics gives way to imagination and fun in a very healthy way.

It was a pretty crazy idea. It wasn't planned, but I realized while writing the song that I needed a woman's voice. At that moment I thought of Diana Fuentes because I've always loved her and I've been listening to her music for a long time, explained the author of Me voy and Ponte pa' lo tuyo.

Cimafunk likes people who find their own sound, and that's the reason he thought of Diana, because "wherever you listen to her, you know it's her," he added.

After answering the call, the fun began both in the studio sessions and in the making of the music video, despite being done in the heat of the sanitary measures dictated by the incidence of the new coronavirus.

Songs like the remix of Parar el tiempo with the R&B sound that his guest, Mexican Salma, brought to it; not forgetting El potaje, with Omara Portuondo, Chucho Valdés, La Aragón and Pancho Amat, define the singer's new EP.

Precisely, the female ingredient is a kind of thread that runs through the production of these five songs, which also validate people's need to be happy in the current circumstances. That's what Cun Cun Prá was created for, he commented.

I hope you like it, that people connect with the text, with the idea and with the combination of Diana Fuentes and Cimafunk, concluded the artist, inviting everyone to enjoy La Papa on the networks and official channels this Thursday, February 4th.
