The musician members of the Cuban López-Nussa family will offer a concert on December 23rd at the Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater of this capital, reported today by the Cuban Institute of Music (ICM).
With the support of the National Center for Concert Music, Maestro Ruy (father) convened the pianists Ernán (brother), his firstborn Harold, the renowned percussionist and pianist Ruy Adrián (son), as well as trumpeter Mayquel González and bassist Julio César González, who have accompanied him on other occasions, to join in this recital.
As part of the show, scheduled for 20:00 local time, singer Mayito Rivera and percussionist Yaroldy Abreu, both Cuban, will also join the jam session.
Since the first occasion in 2006, the quartet made up of the López-Nussa family has offered recitals in Cuba and abroad, whose shows have enjoyed great popularity and success due to their unique artistic proposals, indicated the ICM.
Percussionist Ruy López-Nussa worked with outstanding Cuban musicians such as singer Beatriz Marquéz and composer Pedro Luis Ferrer, as well as with troubadour Santiago Feliú, with whom he performed at several concerts throughout Latin America.
