The popular television program 'Caso Cerrado' that has been broadcast on Telemundo for more than ten years is under a major conflict between two of the program's founding figures.
During a broadcast of the television program "El Arañazo Online" hosted by popular presenter Omar Moynelo, evidence was shown of a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Dr. Ana Maria Polo by Marlene Key, one of the co-founders of the program.
During an interview with Erich Concepción who provided evidence of Marlene Key's current lawsuit against Dr. Ana Maria Polo over the rights to the program's name and additional damages, he explained the reasons behind the lawsuit, their relationship, and what has led to this unfortunate situation.
Also present during the interview was José Antonio Orta, a highly respected producer and one of the co-founders of the 'Caso Cerrado' program, who confirmed the horrible work environment that was conducted for many years under Dr. Polo's leadership.
Caso Cerrado began on April 2, 2001 under a different name (Sala de parejas) and originally dealt with the arbitration of marital problems between litigants. In April 2005, it expanded to include other disputes unrelated to marital matters, such as violence and child abuse, and occasional segments in which Dr. Ana María Polo sought to educate the audience on law-related topics.
The program made Ana María Polo an international star, being one of the highest-rated television programs on Telemundo.
