The Cuban Yaneisy Martínez continues in competition on La Voz de España

The Cuban Yaneisy Martínez was selected in the competition La Voz to be part of Alejandro Sanz's team.

The Cuban, 32 years old, lives in Barcelona. This talent is willing to fight for her dream in the world of music.

Yaneisy arrived in Spain 24 years ago and lives in Granollers with her mother and sister. She worked singing in the street and in the metro to be able to survive. Now she is going through a difficult work period but she doesn't give up. She is enthusiastic, a dreamer, and will not stop trying until she can dedicate herself professionally to music.

In her last presentation, Yaneisy gave a spectacular performance of the song Who's lovin you, by the Jackson Five.

Singer and songwriter, Yaneisy was born in La Habana but has lived in Barcelona since she was eight years old. In this city, she has worked as a supermarket cashier, shop assistant, and even as a security guard.

In addition to these jobs, Yaneisy has also performed small concerts at weddings, birthdays, but also in the metro and in the street. She acknowledges that it is a life with uncertainties, but one that gives her large doses of adrenaline. "It's what it means to be an artist," she affirms.

Before participating in La Voz, she competed in the Got Talent España competition, where she won over the judges and the audience with a great performance, achieving the "golden pass" for the semifinal of the Telecinco program.

On her Facebook profile, Yaneisy took the opportunity to thank everyone, from Antena 3 to her parents, through the jury and especially Alejandro Sanz. "I am the happiest person in the world right now and nothing and no one can take this away from me."
