Cuban Karla Vicens is part of the cast of Aladdin, Disney's musical

"It's already a fact. I've been repeating it in a low voice every moment, 3rd day of rehearsals and I still can't believe it. I'm part of the original cast of @aladdin.elmusical. Dreams come true, with effort, a lot of effort and lots of desire," Cuban artist Karla Vicens posted on her Instagram profile.

"I'm infinitely grateful to @stageentertainment and their entire resident team for trusting me once again. Thank you @Disney for this great opportunity that is pure magic," she added in this emotional post. Karla took the opportunity to thank her singing teachers for her vocal training "That has changed my career 360 degrees. There's still much to change and improve," she highlighted.

Aladdin, a musical created by Disney and produced by Stage Entertainment will arrive at the Coliseum theater in Madrid on March 24.

"Magic, spectacle and fun in a splendid production that will transport you to the most dazzling of worlds: a sumptuous set design, up to 84 incredible special effects, a spectacular costume made with more than 8,600 Swarovski crystals and exotic fabrics from up to 9 countries, and a team made up of more than 140 professionals in each performance make Aladdin one of the best musicals of all time," the presentation describes on the official website of the show.

Aladdin also features one of the most outstanding soundtracks composed by the master of musicals, Alan Menken, and awarded with the Oscars for Best Soundtrack and Best Original Song for A Whole New World.

Let's recall that Karla was a member of the Vocal Quartet "Sexto Sentido," known internationally. She was able to combine her musical career with her theatrical one, working with Cuba's musical theater company "Musical Habana."

She was an actress in Cuban television, where she played one of the co-starring roles in the series Zoológico. In fact she had an active career for 6 consecutive years on television, until having her own program as a presenter of Cuban television, until 2018, when she decided to go live in Spain.
