The Association of Entertainment Chroniclers of New York Awards Prize to Cuban Actor Vladimir Cruz

The Association of Entertainment Chroniclers of New York (ACE) has just awarded the ACE AWARD to Vladimir Cruz from Cuba for "Los buenos demonios", an artistic work considered the most outstanding of 2019 in the following category and section: Film/Best Male Supporting Performance. International Recognition.

Los Buenos Demonios is a co-production of ICAIC, Cuba and Wanda Visión and Ibermedia of Spain directed by Gerardo Chijona with the screenplay by Daniel Díaz Torres and Alejandro Hernández based on the novel Algún demonio by Alejandro Hernández.

Synopsis: Tito is 23 years old, a mother who adores him and a car that allows him to earn an honest living. To his neighbors he is a formal and well-mannered young man. No one knows that behind that facade is someone with a pragmatic vision of life. And that implies committing terrible acts. Acts for which, perhaps, one day he will have to pay. But Tito is not worried about the future. Only the present exists. Cuban reality today, just as it is. Without embellishments. And without regrets.
