The famous Cuban presenter and actress Irela Bravo arrived in the city of Miami a few days ago, where she was welcomed by friends such as actress Dianelys Brito, fans and colleagues from the artistic world.
Although many details of this trip have not been revealed through her social networks, her friend, also actress Dianelys Brito, appeared very excited about the reunion.
"This is the beginning," Irela said in a video published by her friend on Instagram, where she took the opportunity to pose in a beautiful white nightgown.
Bravo, awarded the Caricato Prize from UNEAC, is one of Cuba's most iconic actresses. Her followers often joke that the actress seems to never age, as she has been present on the small screen for decades.
The also 67-year-old announcer was born in Havana on July 24, 1953. She began her artistic studies at the School of Actor Training of the Cuban Institute of Broadcasting in 1971.
During her educational stage she began working as a radio actress, where she has been alternating announcing and acting throughout the years, in addition to working in film, theater and television. Bravo has dedicated much of her work to children's programs. In 1997 she received recognition from the Ministry of Education for her work on behalf of children.
Irela was a prominent figure at Radio Progreso over the years for her quality as an actress in soap operas, adventure television programs, theatrical works and children's programs.
On television she is best recognized for her role in the adventure television program El Halcón, alongside deceased actor Jorge Villazón.
On numerous occasions Bravo has worked on dramatic television programs and for many years has been the announcer of the weekly program Entre tú y yo, broadcast on Cubavisión Channel every Saturday in the afternoon after the noon news broadcast since March 1999.
She has also dubbed the voice of the character María Silvia in the adventure film Elpidio Valdés, created by Juan Padrón, who has received the National Film Prize and the National Humor Prize. Bravo has also collaborated with Padrón on Filminutos and ¡Vampiros en La Habana!
Currently, Irela plays Cachita Caché in the popular comedy show Vivir del cuento.
