Kelvis Ochoa and David Torrens pay tribute to Silvio and Pablo at FIC Gibara

The first musical night of the International Film Festival of Gibara, the White Villa, began with the presentation of singer-songwriters Kelvis Ochoa and David Torrens

The event was dedicated to honoring two greats of Cuban music Silvio Rodríguez and Pablo Milanés.

Emblematic songs by Silvio and Pablo, sung in chorus by the audience that attended the concert were performed by Kelvis and David accompanied by Rolando Luna on piano and percussionist Rodney Barreto.

Songs like the Blue Unicorn and Yolanda and others that were performed by the Sound Experimentation Group of the ICAIC were part of the repertoire, all sung in chorus with the attending audience.

The night closed with a concert by Issac Delgado and his Orchestra.
