Josefina Vidal Ferreiro new vice minister of Foreign Relations of Cuba

Josefina de la Caridad Vidal Ferreiro, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, was appointed Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its website.

According to the note, Vidal Ferreiro holds a degree in International Political Relations and has held various positions in the Ministry and in the foreign service.

At the time of her appointment, the diplomat was serving as Ambassador of Cuba in Canada.

Following her appointment, the President of the Republic of Cuba congratulated the diplomat on her designation and wished her success in this new mission.
