Jorge Perugorría Says Goodbye to His Character in Mexican Series

Although the actor did not give details about his character, it is known that he will be part of the cast of "La Máquina," a Mexican fiction series that will be starring Gael García Bernal, Diego Luna, and Eiza González.

For actors, life often becomes a sequence of different characters; each one enters their world for a time and then you can only see it through the screen.

Cuban Jorge Perugorría has once again had to say goodbye to one of his many interpretations; in this case it is Sixto, a character in the series La Máquina that is still in production.

On his Instagram profile, the star of Fresa y Chocolate shared with his followers the way he said goodbye to this role.

"Goodbye Sixto. It has been a pleasure to play this character and to have been part of La Máquina, wonderful team!" Perugorría shared in a post along with some images in which he is seen shaving his head with a clipper.

Although the actor did not give details about his character, from some of his posts on that social network we know that in this one he will have slightly longer hair and even a mustache.

"Back to Mexico, beautiful and beloved," the actor wrote last August also on Instagram, after arriving in the Aztec country for filming.

La Máquina will star three popular Mexican actors, Gael García Bernal, Diego Luna, and Eiza González, who along with the rest of the cast will be responsible for telling the story of a boxer at the end of his sports career trying to achieve one last title.

According to Vogue México magazine, it is a Mexican fiction series, entirely in Spanish, produced by Searchlight Television and can be watched on the streaming platforms Hulu Original and Disney+.

The series is a creation of American writer and producer Marco Ramírez, known for other works such as Orange is the New Black, Da Vinci's demons, Daredevil, among others, and is directed by Mexican filmmaker Gabriel Ripstein recognized for the film 600 millas.

Although this production does not yet have a possible release date, many already await it and it will be an opportunity to see Jorge Perugorría on screen once again, one of the most internationally recognized Cuban actors.
