Jasiel Rivero to another Champions final

The Cuban Jasiel Rivero will play his second consecutive final of the Basketball Champions League, following his team's victory, the Spanish club Hereda San Pablo Burgos, 81 to 70, over French sig-Strasbourg.

Rivero was the leading scorer for the Burgos team, along with Brazilian Vítor Benite, scoring 16 points, in addition to being the player with the most minutes on the court. His field goal shooting accuracy was 66.7% and his efficiency +19.

After losing the first quarter 15-25, the Burgos players prevailed in the remaining three with scores of 22-18, 26-14, and 18-13, according to the official page of the competition.

The Burgos team will face Pinar Karsiyaka from Turkey in next Sunday's final, which defeated Casademont Zaragoza 84-79 earlier. Cuban Javier Justiz saw no action in the game.

This edition of the Champions Final Eight is being played as a bubble in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod.
