Ivette Cepeda works on her new album "La rosa de Jericó"

For 25 years and with her peculiar simplicity she has earned the love of the public at home and also from abroad.

Devoted to her work, and always accompanied by the group Reflexión Ivette Cepeda disdains the commercial to create valuable art.

Now the distinguished interpreter of anthological Cuban songs prepares a new phonogram recorded in the EGREM studios, which today is being mixed in the United States.

Under the name of The Rose of Jericho, the artist intends to present it in November, in a concert at the Karl Marx theater.

Composed of twelve pieces, Ivette Cepeda's new production includes creations by Santiago Feliú, Carlos Varela, Pedro Luis Ferrer, Polito Ibáñez, and Augusto Blanca, among others.

With her well-received performances Ivette Cepeda captivates an increasingly numerous public that fills any space where she presents.

It does not matter if it is in a theater or in a peña, several generations follow the interpretive art of Ivette Cepeda. To some her voice reminds them of great and mythical interpreters like Olga Guillot and Elena Burke.
