A show that goes from the image of cinema to Ivette's voice on stage, this is how filmmaker Lester Hamlet cataloged the three concerts that Cuban singer Ivette Cepeda and the group Reflexión have offered this weekend at the Havana cinema Charles Chaplín.

Lester Hamlet -who assumes the artistic direction of the presentations- expressed that in addition to celebrating the 63 years of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC), tribute is paid to emblematic directors, actors and actresses of Cuban seventh art.

He said that a special guest is added to this celebration, someone who has also delivered very beautiful songs for cinema as an author, the great Kelvis Ochoa, who in each concert performs two songs, for a total of six, which are part of the soundtrack of well-known films.

Hamlet added that actors Yanier Palmero, Bárbaro Marín, Ulises González and humorist Kike Quiñones have also accompanied Cepeda on the Chaplín stage.

The repertoire chosen for the occasion includes some premieres from La Rosa de Jericó, the singer's most recent album, and interpretations of classic musical pieces from Cuban cinema.

The songs on this fifth album of Ivette Cepeda speak of splendor, of reunion and of how wonderful life is when you start over.

Several of the music videos belonging to this record production are available on digital platforms, they are: Fue tal vez, by author Yhosvany Palma under the direction of Wajiros Films, and Nana del adiós, authored by Karel García, with the audiovisual direction of Lester Hamlet himself.
