Cuban singer Ivette Cepeda and her Grupo Reflexión premiered the music video for the song "Como en la lluvia," a track included on her latest album La rosa de Jericó.

"Como en la lluvia" was composed by Karel García and features the participation of master Orlando Valle (Maraca) on the flute.

The audiovisual was recorded in the coastal community of Cocodrilo, in the south of the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud, and was inspired by the love story maintained for years by photographer Jaime Prendes and his wife Bellasoe Cobas, who died in March 2021 in that territory.

The music video was directed by filmmaker Maykel Jorge Pascual and the team from the independent production company Croma, who took advantage of the beautiful natural landscapes to convey the intention of Cepeda's performance.

The Cuban performer appeared for the first time in Isla de la Juventud in the middle of this year and advanced the recording of her music video in the coastal community.

In conversations with the Cuban state press, Cepeda stated: "I felt in my heart that in this territory there existed a setting for that song to become an image and with the help of the Croma team, led by Maykel Jorge Pascual, we will make the video in the southern zone of the municipality."

The phonogram La rosa de Jericó was deserving of the Cubadisco 2022 award in the Song category; and currently another of its audiovisual materials, the popular "Nana del Adiós," is nominated for the Lucas awards in the categories of Best Editing and Best Song.

Ivette Cepeda's recently premiered music video is a kind of second audiovisual tribute, since the video for "Fue tal vez," a song also from the album, was a tribute by the singer to the late Cuban actress Broselianda Hernández.
