Isaac Delgado heads musical presentations at Bayamo Carnival

The popular internationally renowned musician Isaac Delgado heads the list of 51 artistic units that will perform at Carnaval Bayamo 2019, according to information from the Sindo Garay Music and Entertainment Marketing Company, in Granma.

El Chévere de la Salsa and his group, one of the most anticipated performances, will enliven the festivities on Thursday and Saturday, starting at 2:00 am, in the Los Caballitos area; and in the Zenea and Figueredo area, respectively.

As is customary, they will be accompanied by dancers Cándido Fabré and his Band, la Original de Manzanillo, Los Karachis, Fiverson, La Potencia, Yakaré, Kfé Exclusivo, Impacto, among others.

Meanwhile, traditional music will be provided by La Monumental, the female group Puro Sabor, Mariachi Tierra Brava, and other guests.

Nivia Ramírez, director of the Culture Department in Bayamo, said that in addition to the 13 planned areas, there will be six enclosed spaces such as El Madrugazo, with El Ruiseñor; El teatro del Pueblo with the Wanchy Tropical Show company; Los Caneyes, El Batazo musical, the Fishing cabaret and the Los Beatles recreational center.

The Bayamo celebration of the year will conclude next Sunday and will feature the traditional parade of floats and street parties, which fill the city with color.
