The first volume of Inside, the most recent recording project by renowned Cuban artist X Alfonso, was included in the list of the best albums of the year by the prestigious American media outlet National Public Radio (NPR).

Regarding this material, its author has said that it is an immersion in a limitless world that allows him to create sound sensations and images, building an entity of energy and feelings and a discourse of his time.

In his words about the album, distinguished journalist and music critic Félix Contreras expressed: "In September 2019, he announced his first album in eight years, which he revealed with monthly singles until the complete Inside appeared as a puzzle assembled from disparate pieces."

An impeccable statement about contemporary music in Cuba, electronic and Afro-Cuban influences in equal parts, Inside drips with sonic delight, he continued, choosing a favorite single would be like trying to represent a book by a single chapter, the glory of Inside has to be absorbed in its entirety to appreciate the creative force of X Alfonso, he emphasized.

The celebration is twofold as this work is the first production of FAC Music Label, from Fábrica de Arte Cubano, a cultural project directed by the artist himself.
On December 18th, INSIDE Vol. I-II will be released, a double album of 18 tracks that includes the two volumes into which the project has been divided.
