Funeral Honors for Pupy Pedroso

The Ministry of Culture and the Cuban Institute of Music have organized the well-deserved farewell tribute to National Music Prize winner César Pupy Pedroso, who passed away on July 17.

The funeral honors for the artist will take place this Friday, July 22 in the lobby of the Avellaneda Hall at the National Theater of Cuba, from 10 in the morning until three in the afternoon.

The space will be open to all members of the public who wish to come and pay their respects, and strict compliance with the recently approved health measures in the country will be required, including the mandatory use of face masks.

In this way, Cubans will be able to say their final goodbye to the eminent musician, founder of Van Van and leader of Los que Son Son.
