Tribute to Santiago Feliú in the album Vida a Vida

The record label Bis Music promotes the album Vida a Vida on digital platforms, which brings together the voices of renowned Cuban artists around the compositions of Santiago Feliú.

Although the release occurred in mid-2022, the institution resumed the promotion of the work, which features the unmistakable talent of Pablo Milanés in the song Carta and the fortune of having Gunila, considered by experts as one of the greatest successes of the production.

"There are dead people who give light of Life and here I try to retouch and revive those friends who draw suns, with loves from other times, with many anxieties and urgency for beauty and above all, that intrinsic need of Santi, that so convincing and beautiful way of giving Life to Life," pointed out Nelson Vila, the person in charge of bringing this project to a safe port.

In his liner notes, Vila notes that the phonogram is a sort of remake of Feliú's album Vida, by the hand of "great singer-songwriters and performers, relying on the talent of five young people in the orchestration and arrangements in general."

Without intentions of imitating or transforming the essences of Feliú, the album features the talent of William Vivanco, Liuba María Hevia, David Torrens, Rochy Ameneiro, Kelvis Ochoa and Amaury Pérez, who emulated the magic of songs like Amigo dibujo, Ayer y hoy enamorado, Vida and Para Bárbara.
