The family members of Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo Milanés have come out on social media to deny rumors claiming that the icon of nueva trova had died. The composer is currently hospitalized in Madrid, Spain.

Liam Milanés, Pablo's daughter, clarified on behalf of her family that her father "is still with us and ALIVE, thanks to the generous Universe," she posted on Facebook.

"We are grateful to those who have truly been concerned about his health. Stay strong," Liam explained, denying the posts published that claimed the end of the musician who is admired by millions of fans in Hispanic America.

On the other hand, Haydée Milanés's husband, filmmaker Alejandro Gutiérrez, took the opportunity to respond with harsh words to Spanish communist Ana Hurtado: "The campaign of love against the 'words' of Ana Hurtado is so great that someone from the highest spheres decided to say that Pablo died to distort that Pablo is Cuba".

Hurtado, sadly renowned for defending the Castrist regime of which she claims to be a fervent devotee, has engaged in one of her usual "gossip" and has called singer Pablo Milanés a "worm" and "opportunist".

Such boldness took place in one of her most recent publications on her Twitter account, where she is accustomed to displaying her pitiful verbosity in defense of her "friends" Díaz-Canel, Lis Cuesta, and the entire Cuban dictatorship.
