The popular Cuban actor Jorge Perugorría announced on Instagram that the Netflix series he stars in, "Four Seasons in Havana", will have a new season.
"2017 'Four Seasons in Havana' Platinum Award for Best Latin American Series. Looking forward to starting to film the next season next year. Excellent Closing Gala of the 2017 Platinum Awards, closed with Gente de Zona that got everyone in the attending audience on their feet to enjoy," the actor wrote on his social media profile.
In the comments, followers thanked the Cuban actor for the announcement and the series, which is based on several novels by Cuban writer Leonardo Padura.
"My favorite actor and waiting for the second season," "I loved the series," "Congratulations and looking forward to the next season," were some comments from his followers. Although there were other comments from celebrities such as choreographer Lizt Alfonso or his cast mate, actor Carlos Enrique Almirante.
"We're already waiting eagerly," Alfonso wrote to him, while Almirante told him in character "Soon. Brother Mario Conde. Let's hope it's soon."
The miniseries "Four Seasons in Havana," as is known, is based on the famous novels by Cuban writer Leonardo Padura. Spanish director Felix Viscarret was in charge of directing it, becoming the first to adapt and film Leonardo Padura's novels in their ideal location, Havana.
The adaptations of the novels were carried out by novelist Padura, together with Cuban screenwriter Lucia López Coll.
In addition to Jorge Perugorría in the role of Inspector Conde, Juana Acosta (Karina), Mariam Hernández (Lissette), as well as Carlos Enrique Almirante, Luis Alberto García, Enrique Molina and Laura Ramos work on the series.
