Gloria Estefan and Tania León shone at the 2025 Grammys. Estefan won for "Bemba Colorá", while León received the Trustee Award for her musical contributions.

The 2025 Grammy Awards were a stage for great emotions and recognition of Cuban talent, highlighting Gloria Estefan and Tania León among the night's award winners.

Gloria Estefan won the prestigious golden gramophone in the Best Global Performance category, accompanied by Peruvian Mimy Succar and American Sheila E.

Her performance of "Bemba Colorá" is a tribute to the legendary Celia Cruz, who popularized this emblematic song composed by Cuban composer and trombonist José Claro Fumero.

On Instagram, Gloria celebrated this award with her followers, thanking them for all their affection and also thanking the Recording Academy for this recognition, the fourth Grammy of her artistic career.

In addition to receiving this prestigious award, Gloria Estefan had a leading role in the gala as presenter of one of the most anticipated sections of the night, Shakira's performance, with whom she shares a very special affection.

Also Cuban-American composer and conductor Tania León was honored in this 67th edition of the Grammys with one of the 2025 Special Merit Awards, the Trustee Award.

The award, shared with Glyn Johns and Erroll Garner, is given to figures who have made significant contributions to the world of music, beyond performance, which is why it is a great recognition of the career of the Cuban orchestra conductor and composer.

Once again Cuban talent shone at the 2025 Grammys, demonstrating that the music of the island continues to leave its mark on the history of international music.
