Puerto Rican salsa singer Gilberto Santa Rosa premiered the music video for "Si te cansaste de mí", a song by young Cuban singer-songwriter Mauricio Figueiral.

Santa Rosa shared the performance of the song with his compatriot singer-songwriter and actress Yolandita Mongue, in an audiovisual filmed in a recording studio with great intimacy like the song itself.

The author of the lyrics commented on Santa Rosa's YouTube post: "How great the two of you are!! How beautiful!!".

Additionally, Figueiral proposed to the Puerto Rican: "Let's make a music video here in Havana! Thank you for so much music in this life Gilberto".

Last October, the Cuban troubadour announced the premiere of the song from his social networks, which could be heard on YouTube, but still did not have a music video.

At that time, Figueiral said he felt very surprised and happy about this news, after receiving "the most scandalous call of my entire life".

It was precisely Santa Rosa who contacted him to ask permission to premiere his song, something that for the Cuban was "total madness to hear my song in those voices".

"The Gentleman of Salsa", one of the most prolific Puerto Rican singers of his time, has captivated and made many dance with his voice and his songs. Furthermore, he has shown great affection and admiration for Cuban musicians on repeated occasions.
