A varied program of activities is being prepared by maestro Frank Fernández's office to celebrate World Music Day in Cuba, to be held on June 21.
The actions will have a non-traditional perspective to enjoy classical music and will move through various spaces in the historic center of Havana.
The event will begin with a public yoga session and continue with one of massages and relaxation gymnastics, exercises that will be accompanied by a selection of Frank Fernández pieces suited for their performance.
Likewise, a lecture will be given by Dr. Patricia Arés on the therapeutic value of classical music in pregnancy, babies and the elderly, all of it linked to well-being and quality of life.
In the afternoon hours, an original wedding set will welcome passersby who wish to enjoy themselves in the venue to listen to melodies related to the wedding celebration and take photographs.
For the closing as the core of the activity, a didactic concert by the pianist will be held, and a joint exhibition of 10 works created by maestros Frank Fernández and Nelson Domínguez will be inaugurated.
Guests and passersby will be able to enjoy a presentation by Litz Alfonzo's Ballet that will combine dance and lighting effects on the buildings of Plaza Vieja.
