General of the Army Corps Ramón Espinosa Martín, First Vice Minister of the Armed Forces, Passed Away

On the afternoon of this Tuesday, September 24, the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power, General of the Army Corps Ramón Espinosa Martín, First Vice Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR), Hero of the Republic of Cuba and of Labor, passed away suddenly. He accumulated a brilliant record of service to the Homeland and to the FAR.

His body will be cremated, and his ashes deposited in the Granma room of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, pending the completion of the funeral rites.
