The famous Cuban chef Carl Ruiz died last Saturday at only 44 years old after apparently suffering a heart attack while he was at his home sleeping.
The prestigious and popular restaurant La Cubana, located in the city of New York and owned by Ruiz, informed through its social networks the unfortunate news of the death of the talented Cuban, who was very distinguished in the culinary world.
"On behalf of the La Cubana family, with heavy hearts, we are deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved Executive Chef Carl Ruiz. No words can fully express our sadness at the sudden loss of our dear friend and brother. Beyond his immense culinary talent, Carl's larger-than-life personality never failed to entertain, illuminate and uplift every person he encountered along his adventures," says the message of the post.
