Kiko, the popular star of the Cuban telenovela "Sol de Batey," dies in La Habana

Fidelio Torres, one of the most outstanding Cuban actors of all time, unfortunately passed away in the morning of Tuesday, October 15.

Actor Fidelio Torres is and will be remembered for his character of the cart driver Kiko in the iconic Cuban soap opera Sol de Batey.

The ACTUAR agency of the Ministry of Culture of Cuba announced the news on social media. The note recalls that the actor «had recently received the ACTUAR Prize for Lifetime Achievement for his outstanding artistic and professional career».
