Renowned Professor and Internist, Dr. C Héctor Manuel Rodríguez Silva, Passes Away

This Thursday, May 25th, Professor Dr. C Héctor Manuel Rodríguez Silva passed away in Havana at the age of 93, who was born in Santo Domingo, province of Villa Clara, Cuba, on July 20, 1929.

Doctor of Medicine, Specialist of II Degree in Internal Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Emeritus, Researcher of Merit, Full Professor, Dr. Rodríguez Silva also held the distinction of Hero of Labor of the Republic of Cuba.

He was a Full Member of the Cuban Society of Internal Medicine, Associated Member of the Cuban Society of Hematology and Member of the Internal Society of Internal Medicine, since 1972.

With his passing, Cuban Public Health loses one of its most recognized professionals.
