The historian of the city of Havana, Eusebio Leal, arrived in Stockholm on the eve, where he will complete an official work visit until September 12.
According to the program, Leal will take a tour of Uppsala University, the Royal Palace and the National Museum, in addition to giving a lecture at the Latin American Institute of Stockholm University.
Likewise, he will hold meetings with officials from Sweden's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among them, Vice Minister Annika Söder.
A special moment within the agenda will be the meeting with members of Swedish solidarity groups with the Caribbean island and the Association of Cubans Residing in Stockholm at the Cuban embassy on the 9th.
The visit—according to the diplomatic delegation of the Caribbean island in this Nordic country—aims to continue the development of cooperation relations between the largest of the Antilles and Sweden.
