In the Madre Teresa de Calcuta Garden, of the Minor Basilica of the Convent of San Francisco de Asís, a work group from the Office of the Historian of the City of La Habana, is working on the preparation of the site where the ashes of our beloved City Historian, Eusebio Leal Spengler, will be deposited forever.

On a date that will be announced when conditions are ready, the funeral honors will take place, which, as was published in the media following his death on July 31st, will be held at the Havana Capitol with all the honors and the tribute of the people that is deserved by one of the most beloved Cubans of his time.

With great love, his collaborators are preparing the site where his ashes will rest.

One of his favorite places will continue to embrace him while we Cubans will very soon be able to pay the tribute that this beloved human being deserves, one of the most beloved Cubans of his time, as defined by Magda Resik, director of communication of the OHCH.
