With great enthusiasm, thousands of followers of Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez are waiting for the premiere of Catherine Murphy's documentary, "Silvio Rodríguez: My First Task"

In an exclusive interview with Catherine Murphy, interwoven with moving images from the Literacy Campaign in 1961, Silvio recounts an unknown chapter of his adolescence and how that experience marked and shaped him.

This virtual premiere, scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2020, will take place within the framework of the Tribute to Silvio Rodríguez being held by Hot House Global with Bill Martínez.

Said Tribute includes the film premiere followed by a virtual concert of international artists singing their favorite songs by Silvio.
