They premiere today a documentary dedicated to Antonio Muñoz

The Giant of Escambray, a documentary dedicated to the former star of our baseball Antonio Muñoz, will premiere today in Cienfuegos.

The premiere of the work, by journalist and television director Yodeni Masó Águila, will have a massive character, given the immense affection of the people of Cienfuegos for this Cuban sports glory, and will take place at the Tropisur recreational complex, in the evening hours. The material will have a second premiere in Havana, Thursday, July 4th in the Che Guevara Hall of the ICRT.

Important testimonies from great Cuban baseball players about historical sports events linked to the trajectory of the sturdy batter are interwoven in the footage with approaches to Muñoz's current work. Thus, a segment is reserved for his project with child baseball players.

The story is supported by a variety of audiovisual materials and also reveals unprecedented elements in his sports career, explained director Masó Águila.
