Emilio Estefan plays Jeff Bezos's father in the biopic Bezos

Cuban-born artist Emilio Estefan has known cinema through executive production or soundtrack work, but now we will finally be able to see him on the other side of the camera with his role as Mike Bezos in the biographical film about Jeff Bezos, which will mark his debut as an actor in cinema.

Emilio, husband of the renowned Gloria Estefan, expressed his gratitude on his social media: "My people, are you ready to see me act as Mike Bezos, the dad of #JeffBezos?, to which he added: "I am very happy to be part of this film and to represent Mike Bezos, the father of Jeff Bezos. Mike represents the unconditional love that a father has for his son and his family, the unique love that parents feel for their children", along with images from the film in which we see him personified as that man who supports a brilliant mind.

"Jeff Bezos represents the new generation of inspiring entrepreneurs who are also doing incredible work creating jobs and helping different institutions with their donations," said Estefan, who shares the cast with Armando Gutierrez, Marcus Lemonis, Alex Mitchell, and Ann Herberger.

"When they presented the project to me, I loved it! I think they called me for my accent," he joked. And he concluded: "But the reality is that I immediately identified with Mike and the story of this multiethnic family".

This biographical film investigates the first steps of the founder of Amazon, and is titled "Bezos", with the production company Vision Films. According to the artist himself, the film premiered this week in Miami, the city where Mike Bezos, Jeff's adoptive father, arrived in search of a better future than in his native island.
