The single "La adivinanza" is the first advance from the album that will hit the market on June 12 of this year.

Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez, last Friday May 15, on social networks, shared a preview of his upcoming album titled "Para la espera", as a tribute to several of the artist's friends who have recently passed away.

Over the next three Fridays, the three following songs will be released: "Noche sin fin y mar", "Viene la cosa" and "Danzón para la espera", prior to the studio album by the Cuban musician.

The musical material "Para la espera" contains 13 songs, among them, 10 original compositions made by Silvio in recent years.

Silvio Rodríguez, who is 73 years old and has 40 years of artistic career, had not released material since 2015. However, the tracks on this CD, pending release to the market, were recorded, mixed and mastered at Ojalá studios, during the last decade.

Prior to the album's release, 3 other singles from the album will be advanced, the dates for these releases are:
May 22: "Noche sin fin y mar"
May 29: "Viene la cosa"
June 5: "Danzón para la espera"

In a note published on his official site Zurrón del Aprendiz the author has published the following text:

"Para la espera" includes some of the songs I have composed in recent years. In all cases they are first versions, made shortly after composing them. The instruments and voices you hear here are me myself, taking notes to develop later. Only three of these songs were previously released: "Jugábamos a Dios" (2010) for the credits of the film "Afinidades" –directed by Jorge Perugorría and Vladimir Cruz–, "Viene la cosa" (2016), performed in multiple concerts in Havana neighborhoods and "Noche sin fin y mar" (2017), dedicated to my dear friend Eduardo Aute. The remaining 10 songs are unreleased.

I dedicate this work to the memory of several friends, excellent creators that the world has lost in the last month. I list them in the order they departed:
