Vida Libre is the title of the national tour that musician David Blanco and his group began on Monday, June 4 in Guantánamo.
The concerts will take place at the main universities in each province. After performing for Guantánamo students last Monday, David will do so today Tuesday in Santiago de Cuba; Thursday the 7th in Granma; Friday the 8th in Holguín and Saturday the 9th in Las Tunas. He will perform on Monday the 11th in Camagüey; Tuesday the 12th in Ciego de Ávila; Thursday the 14th in Sancti Spíritus; Friday the 15th in Villa Clara and Saturday the 16th in Cienfuegos.
On Tuesday the 19th, he will perform in Matanzas; Wednesday the 20th in Mayabeque; Thursday the 21st in Artemisa; Friday the 22nd at the UCI; Sunday the 24th in Pinar del Río; Tuesday the 26th on the Isle of Youth, and Friday the 29th on the steps of the University of Havana.
David Blanco, who says he especially likes to write for young people, in whom, he says, he trusts greatly because they have a free mind to soar, are more rebellious in that sense, and have more dreams, in addition to the fact that they have demonstrated being alongside the revolution, will perform songs from his cd Vida Libre, including False Truth, Your Memory, Hallucinating, Only You, Free, Take the Leap and Alone in the Darkness, as well as his most recent song: Feel It in Your Skin, which he performs with Laritza Bacallao, dedicated to the upcoming football world cup Russia 2018.
I like football. I never played it officially but as a child I never missed a street match, said the outstanding Cuban musician, who is not performing for Cuban university students for the first time.
