The Knight of Son Announces "From Son to Casino" at the Tropical

For Adalberto Álvarez, director, musician, composer and performer, leader of contemporary son and faithful defender of traditional and popular Cuban music, the Salón Rosado de la Tropical Benny Moré is always a starting point, and above all, a reference for reaching dancers not only from Cuba, but from around the world.

For this reason, in addition to presenting live songs created by him in that capital space, before including them on an album, he has also created viable musical projects for the general public that for more than six decades has visited the Palacio del Bailador, as he himself describes the Tropical.

From Son to Casino is one of those projects that El caballero del Son has dreamed of, and that will shortly become reality, according to Adalberto himself.

Specially designed for casino dancers in Cuba and around the world, the author of "A Bayamo en coche" proposes to make Fridays an unforgettable night at the Tropical for all those who visit Havana, and prefer as their first choice to dance Cuban music of high aesthetic values and, above all, to enjoy it through his orchestra, Adalberto Álvarez y su Son, as host, as well as special guests, to which are added the collaboration of prestigious casino wheels from throughout the country, and the DJs, entertainment and good music.

With this project, the Salón Rosado will assume the concept of cabaret in its image and design, allowing visitors the most glamorous enjoyment of a show whose main objective is, from the stage to the dancer, to demonstrate how sublime son is for entertaining the soul and much more, if it comes from the work of someone consecrated nationally and internationally such as Adalberto Álvarez.
